WORKSHOP "BRIDGING CULTURES & ENGINEERING VIETNAMESE

At 8:00 a.m. on July 22, 2024, Aidedo organized the Workshop “BRIDGING CULTURES & ENGINEERING VIETNAMESE – FRENCH” to create opportunities for cultural exchange and sharing of professional knowledge, helping two interns from CESI School (France) – Luc Boutgny and Yannis Maissin, better understand Aidedo and the core values that the company aims for.

Luc and Yannis opened by introducing the country, French culture and the school they attended, sharing cultural differences and their experiences in Vietnam.

The entire audience attentively listened to the workshop’s content.

Next, Mr. Henry Tran – Civil Manager shared about his team’s 5-year journey. He shared memorable experiences, from opportunities, challenges to the team’s future development direction.

Next, representatives from the Civil team took turns sharing about the team’s development over the years. Each person brought their own style of storytelling, but they all had one thing in common “Team spirit“. They recalled the stressful times, the pressure of deadlines, and the difficulties they had to overcome while implementing the project.

In particular, the sharing of Mr. Kelly Vo – Drafting Manager about the new software “Carlson” which is not widely used in Vietnam, this is probably a quite interesting topic, attracting the most attention in the Workshop that day. It opened up a new perspective and more useful information for all Aidedo engineers.

The biggest surprise came from the sharing of Mr. Robert Nguyen, a member of the Drafting team, about the importance of sleep. He said: “As an engineer, I often have to work at night, especially during urgent project stages. Although I really want to sleep to recharge my energy, time does not allow it.”

From there, he researched and wanted to share a scientific way to sleep so that even with little sleep, he can still ensure his health. This topic attracted great attention, as everyone discussed it enthusiastically throughout the workshop.

Mr. Aiden Tong – Founder & CEO (Aidedo), emphasized the company’s 5 core values: Quality, Speed, Fairness, Discipline and Love. His sharing helped everyone better understand the culture that Aidedo is building and developing.

When the clock struck 12, the workshop came to an end. Everyone left with much to reflect on. That morning was not only an opportunity for us to learn about French culture but also a chance to reflect on ourselves, our work, and the values that Aidedo has brought into our lives. Today’s stories, though small, helped us understand each other better, brought us closer, and will undoubtedly serve as valuable lessons for the journey ahead.
