It is extremely important to ensure the design fully meets all project requirements (e.g., Site Plan, Grading, Corridor surface, Minimum or Maximum Slope, Retaining Walls, Retention Ponds, Detention Ponds, and Curbs). By doing so, we stay on the right track to complete the project and guarantee that outputs meet the client’s standards. Therefore, as Aidedo engineers, we always send a daily work report at the end of each day.
By uploading our project data to the client’s output folders on Google Drive, Dropbox, Microsoft Teams, or Slack, The client can immediately grasp the ongoing project progress and provide direct feedback on the design files to evaluate work quality. If there are any discrepancies in the design information based on the cliennt’s comments, we will quickly address them within the design process. This approach keeps us aligned with the requirements and saves time during project implementation, bringing tremendous benefits to Aidedo engineers and clients.
HOW DO AIDEDO ENGINEERS REPORT PROJECT PROGRESS?
Step 1: The Aidedo Engineers Checks Daily Task Completion
At the end of each workday, Aidedo engineers must report their assigned tasks to the Aidedo team leader. The team leader is responsible for reviewing the team’s overall work and compiling all questions from members who directly work on the project (e.g., grading models, site plans, stormwater calculations, and quantity take-offs).

Step 2: The Aidedo Engineers Update the Project Status for Client
The Aidedo engineer will report and update the project status to Client, including any questions in Word, CAD, or PDF files. All files are clearly organized according to the shared workflow structure between our team and the client folder, ensuring the review process is as straightforward as possible.

Step 3: Send all The Day’s Work Results to the Client
We and our Client worked in different time zones. Therefore, the Client typically expect the day’s work results to be on their laptops by the start of their new day, allowing them to review, provide new instructions and additional requirements. This creates an ongoing work cycle between Aidedo and the Clients on all projects.

WHAT DOES THE CLIENT DO UPON RECEIVING THE DAILY WORK REPORT?
- Review the work progress and assess the quality of that day’s tasks.
- Request revisions if the design plan needs updating.
- Provide new requirements or discuss with the Aidedo team to achieve a better design solution.
- Directly mark up the project and send feedback to the Aidedo engineer for the next workday.

Consistent daily reporting is essential for maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and smooth collaboration throughout a project. By keeping stakeholders informed and promptly addressing any issues, we ensure that every design aligns with project requirements and client expectations. This structured process helps reduce errors, improve productivity, and streamline reviews.
