Following the successful collaboration started in 2024, on October 17, 2025, Aidedo Joint Stock Company (Aidedo Outsourcing Provider), in coordination with the Faculty of Infrastructure Engineering – Ho Chi Minh City University of Architecture (UAH) and the global technology provider 12D, organized the seminar “BIM FOR INFRA AND JOBS OPPORTUNITIES.” The event focused on the roadmap for BIM application in the infrastructure sector in Vietnam, a hands-on experience with the 12d Model software, while also opening up opportunities for international internships and jobs at Aidedo for UAH students.
Experts share knowledge and international market insights
The 2025 seminar was honored to welcome a line-up of reputable speakers, including Mr. Aiden Tong – Founder & CEO at Aidedo, Dr. Lee Gregory – Founder & Managing Director at 12D, Dr. Soon H Teh – International Sales & Partner Manager, Mr. Sau Pham – Lecturer at the University of Architecture Ho Chi Minh City (UAH) and a professional consultant at Aidedo, along with Mr. Minh Vu – a typical UAH student who excellently won the 12D Award in 2025. Not only that, the success of the seminar was further affirmed by the presence of the Board of Representatives from the Faculty of Infrastructure Engineering and nearly 100 potential final-year students.
Opening the seminar, Mr. Aiden Tong – Founder & CEO at Aidedo, shared about Aidedo’s promising development journey in the international market, while emphasizing the results of the strategic collaboration with UAH in 2024, This is evidenced by the fact that there are more than 16 internship and official job positions for students of the school. Currently, 12 of them have been officially recruited as engineers at Aidedo.
He emphasized that the core vision of the program is not just to open the door to recruitment, but also to equip final-year students with the ability to comprehensively grasp the professional landscape and identify abundant job opportunities on a global scale. Through this, students can proactively forge their career paths and set personal development goals for the first five years after graduation, instead of following the common path of ‘waiting to graduate before starting to find their way.’ To boost confidence and motivation, Mr. Aiden Tong also shared invaluable practical experiences and success stories from former UAH students currently working at Aidedo and individuals outside the provider.
Continuing the program, the seminar delved into the international professional aspect with a presentation by Dr. Lee Gregory – Founder & Managing Director at 12D, who laid the foundation for the IFC format (a widely applied global standard). He provided an in-depth presentation on topics concerning IFC and ADAC in the field of Infra BIM. This was valuable content because the IFC format is currently required by Aidedo’s international partners to be integrated into real-world projects in key markets such as Australia, the United States, and Europe. This direct and detailed approach offers students a golden opportunity to understand and grasp technical requirements, along with global quality standards, thereby supplementing and enriching their specialized knowledge compared to the existing educational foundation.
Following the presentation on IFC and ADAC for Infra BIM, the program proceeded to encourage and develop student talent through the annual 12D Award, introduced by Dr. Soon H. Teh – International Sales & Partner Manager. This is a prestigious academic competition on a global scale, recognizing outstanding individuals in the application of technology to practical infrastructure design and management. The highlight of the sharing session was the moment Dr. Teh personally presented this prestigious award to Minh Vu – a UAH student who excellently achieved the honor for 2025, thereby affirming the quality of the university’s education and the far-reaching potential of Vietnamese infrastructure engineers in the international market.
To complement the insights on international standards and vision, Mr. Sau Pham – Lecturer at the University of Architecture Ho Chi Minh City (UAH) concurrently professional competencies at Aidedo, presented a detailed framework for the BIM implementation roadmap in the Vietnamese market. This content provided a multi-dimensional perspective on practical application, while focusing on clarifying strategic trends in the design and management of traffic infrastructure projects. Consequently, it helped students grasp the overall domestic context and position their competence within the global digital engineering ecosystem.
